TRANSAFRICAN Honours Member Of Taraba State Assembly For Selfless Service By Yakubu Ventim

Taraba state House of Assembly Member representing Ussa constituency.Hon Yohanna Iratsi Adaki  has been honoured by  TRANSAFRICAN link and international  award  for selfless contribution in boosting education at the  grass root level  ,revamping   ,empowerment of youth on  skills acquisition and  building of schools
Transafrican most distinguished bi annual lecture, book exhibition and diamond merit award presentation organized by Transafrican links, Africa and overseas at the international conference centre ,Hill station Hotel ,Jos .
The event witnessed the presentation of gifts to schools  children in secondary category with parents and guardian who came  from all walk of live including pupils from private and public schools with the  aim of  promoting reading culture literally appreciation among school children and addressing the plight of young writers and  Africans child .
 The member said ,the parlous state of falling standard of education and infrastructure development in the area  attracted his attention to built two class block  rooms in GDJSS Kpambo,ward of Ussa Local Government,building of two block classroom in Kostain primary school in Lissam 1 ward of Ussa Local Govt ,building of Examination Hall in GDSS Lumbu Yausa in Lumbu ward ,two block classroom in Kunkufxang primary school Lissam 2 ward of Ussa Local Government ,construction of Yang Wakwaen bridge in Lissam Sambo in Kpambor puri ward of Ussa ,construction of Kutupwen bridge in Lissam 1 ward ,sinking of borehole in Rufu Andeshwo,in Rufu ward ,donation of 8 motor cycle to indigents of Ussa Local Government in Kwesati and also influenced the establishment of a customary court in kwesati.
He also picks holes in the design and procurement processes of power projects that have direct impact on the lives of the community.
The organization gave him the award to encourage him to do more toward the wellbeing of the indigenous people, Adaki sponsored the operation of 50 indigents of Ussa who are suffering from hernia and appendicitis and distribution of clothing materials to 40 widows of the Ward .
 The member also distribution Cement, roofing sheets and fertilizers to farmers toward improving agriculture product during the raining season, provide financial assistant to some indigents .
According to him ,gaining admission into higher institutions of learning was a big task so he secure admission to the indigents of Taraba at the state University and remedial school.
He explained further that ,the challenges of falling Standard of education from primary schools level in the state prompt him  to build and rehabilitate all the UBE prim ary schools  in Fikyu .
Added he  plan to promote education ,I  sponsored the bill for the establishment of sandwich program at Taraba state University and the program has already started ,he said.
I also co sponsored a bill for the establishment of private institutions in Taraba state.
Director General Dr AMeachi Ezeakwe said,the program is targeted at encouraging pupils to know the  value of reading culture and to enhance their building capacity among the  youth on value orientation .
We are celebrating 20 years of existence on the Plateau ,Abuja ,IMO and Kaduna state.
The Transafrican overseas link give opportunity to children to exhibit their talent dancing competition.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Certificates to  participants and the awardees .
Miss Famacit Labar Gambo a staff with Nigeria prison applauded the organizers for recognizing her contribution .
She said the award will encourage her to give out her  very best toward humanity and the society .

Gambo employed people to invest in the live of   less privilege  who can’t meet family responsibility.
