“Tinubu Allegedly Re-assures Osun APC Stalwarts on Supreme Court Judgement

The National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu it has been alleged that he has again declared that the Supreme Court will do his bidding by ruling in their favour on Osun governorship election.

 

It was gathered by this medium that Tinubu allegedly made the declaration at a meeting of select APC leaders held soon after hosting House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila in Lagos two days ago.

 

Insider sources at Bourdillon residence of Asiwaju Tinubu disclosed to our correspondent that some party leaders had raised alarm over the pending judgement of the Supreme Court especially in the light of CJN’s utterances that the Judiciary will not sacrifice justice on the altar of mere technicalities.

 

The APC chief in his usual manner reportedly declared that he has the apex court in his pocket, asking the leaders, “go home and sleep.

 

“We are in power and the judges must rule in our favour. We put the man there. He will not fold his arms and allow the Supreme Court to rule against us”,Tinubu allegedly boastfully said.

 

He assured the leaders which include a Senator and APC Stalwarts from Osun state that all arrangements have been concluded to ensure that Gboyetola is retained as the governor.

 

Efforts to confirm the story from Mr. Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s media aide, proved abortive as his phone was ringing without picking.

 

It would be recalled that Asiwaju Tinubu made similar statements before the Appeal court ruling against the PDP and its candidate; Senator Ademola Adeleke.
