The Nasarawa State Police has arrested three students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi suspected of Armed Robbery along Mikki Suit, a hotel situated at Angwan Lambu along Akwanga-Keffi highway.
The state commissioner of police, Sadeeq Abubakar hinted this during an interview with selected Journalists at his office.
The commissioner buttressed that three students were apprehended with machetes while others were in possessions of firearms where at large.
“On Thursday night our patrol team from Keffi while on patrol arrested three suspects in possessions of machetes along Akwanga-Keffi highway robbing a vehicle along Mikki Suit using a 406 car to block the highway”.
Saying the arrested suspect is with the Criminal Investigation Department as investigation is ongoing.
“Very soon we will parade them as we complete our investigation, he added.
