The many but insalubrious characters happening in my patriotic state is indeed sadornic. My people are not longer representing the change mantra including the followers and rulers. If you are one million dollar lucky person, you might meet a leader in my state although most of which are rulers including the Governor. It takes many angelic dimensions to define the real face of my Governor, is he not complying with his advisers or are they not up to the task? Does people surrounding him neglected the truth or are servicing him mainly on personal interest and not for the masses. Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar has four major roles. He is the chief administrator, overseeing the work of all ministries. Working with the state legislative bodies, he is responsible for approving all new legislation. He is the titular political party head in his state. As Governor, he is the person who represents the state to its citizens and to other elected officials throughout the country and abroad. Abdullahi is the leader of APC and luckily he has the majority of the legislatures in which more of his ideas will be followed and programs approved. But in a pacific donor world, this is not in our dream line. Every responsible person including his aides are crying and no one is ready to assort and help this gentleman. While he is disturbed with the mantle of leadership , his subordinates are not helping matters in. As citation, consider office of chief of staffs . Ideally, a chief of staff provides a lovable ocean between Abubakar and his direct-reporting team. Audu generally works behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the Governor. He most often act as a confidante and advisor to the Governor acting as a sounding board for ideas. Thencely, his duties may differ depending on the matters on due. But the multi-billion dollar question is, with the current Nuclear Bauchi state, every angle is on fire, workers are sobbing, marketers are bronco cheating, students are leaving campuses, mothers are dying, farmers are yielding soil, scholars muted, party leadership is lagging, oppositions are silent, contractors are not competent, schools are dilapidated, legislatures are dimensionless and many other sadornic aqua . I supposedly, doubted if people surrounding you including your friend chief of staffs are feeding your tongue bright and rightly. Hitherto, people of his likes failed to deliver their domestic apprendica and hence destroying the public dream.

It’s time for all the agents of change to get out of their addiction to Good Governance! No country has ever implemented the current I don’t care attitudes in relation to Good Governance agenda before embarking on social and economic development. One cannot take all, there is need for harmonization of ideas including those from oppositions in as much as we need to promote change. If aid is to help, it has to be based on a good understanding of what these creative ideas are, how they work and where they come from. Our Governor shall not run away from truth thinking that , whoever say it is opposing to his leadership. No , no its far beyond this and not closer to realistic democracy. Rather ,consider the best part of every criticism and save your leadership and stop the game of media and public speeches to whom war of cold and hot words are exchanged daily. Change and opposition is ubiquitous in every state, particularly in that which strives to fulfil human needs although my state lacks a desired focus.

Everyone possessed equal right provided he has constitutional backup. We are not in military Jupiter rather an atmosphere full of democratic feelings. The dominance, predominance, and prolongation of PDP rule in Nigeria combined with corruption to undermine due process, the rule of law, transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government. Thencely, we have rightly rejected them, with the election of a change president who assumed leadership of the nation on May ,2015 . Our expectations as democratic sons is very high and we shall not allow the execution of dictatorship from all arena.

Governor Muhammed Abdullahi should employ and consider the democratic principles so as to improve the living conditions of the deprived group, and re-consider into the society those who have been excluded from the economic and political movements by the many years of cupie corrupted party of PDP. The masses who have carried the baggage for so long deserve a break of respect and pity.

I have dream of seen my Governor acted as a leader, a leader with tolerance, patience, forgiving, justice, kind and many others. I want my Governor to have a wider hearing of understanding, I want my Governor to have in consultation none but concern traditional leaders, scholars and other peace ambassadors. This will surely proof his leadership sprit. Sir, no one is guiding you right and he who said all is well in my state is your enemy. Remember, no one can protect and save you before your Creature. As Muslim fellow, its good if you can learn from leadership style of Umar(RA) , feel the hurt of our pain, marry our problems and act like a father to all. According to McFarland, a leader “is one who makes things happen that would not happen otherwise. If the leader causes changes that he intended, he has exercised power, but if the leader causes changes that he did not intend or want, he has exercised influence, but not power” (MacFarland, 1969, pp.167-178; Kofele-Kale, 1976, p.81). Sidney Hook shares a similar view as McFarland. In his work, The Hero in History, Hook depicted a heroic leader as one who makes things happen that ordinarily would not have happened. “The hero in history,” he opined “is the individual to whom we can justifiably attribute preponderant influence in determining an issue or event whose consequences would have been profoundly different if he had not acted as he did.” The hero is “an event-making individual who re-deter-mines the course of history” (Hook, 1943, p.229).John Gardner has pointed out that the task of leaders is to help societies “understand the problems that all must face, to aid in the setting of goals and priorities, to work with others in finding paths to those goals chosen, maintaining public morale, and motivation and nurturing a workable level of public unity” (Gardner, 1978, pp.132-135).

Chinua Achebe, one of Nigeria’s legendary writers, in his little but powerful and widely cited book, “The Trouble with Nigeria” rightly pointed out that “the trouble with Nigeria is simply and squarely a failure of leadership.” He pointed out that “there is nothing basically wrong with the Nigerian character, there is nothing wrong with the Nigerian land or climate or water or air or anything else,” but leadership (Achebe, 1983, p.1). The problem is not really from us but from people of throne, my Governor and your cabinets. The fading of selfless, dedicated, justified non-corrupt and leaders have contributed immensely to the sociopolitical and economic predicaments facing my state of today but hoping for a better chance tomorrow. Corruption and lack of devoted people of throne could be traced back to the First Republic (1960-1966).

DO WE STILL HAVE HOPE?

Infinite damages were put into practice, but to any problem there is a lasting solution. Yes, we have hopes not only a Hope which must be in reliance to peace ,unity and justice. Unity shall be a point of reference and hence we should refer love for all out of zoning perceptions. Bauchi must be an umbrella for all and not for a particular zone. We must embrace love to all, we must pray for our political leaders and traditional leaders must stand for truth and justice out of fear. Scholars must help and not seek for material being. The Governor must have a hearing ear and his aides must pronounce the truth in a responsible manner. We must bear in mind that, rich is from Allah and not from our efforts. Change must be enhance in its real image. My Governor must not stop at his first salvo. The people’s enthusiasm and interest his administration should not be allowed to die down and our sacrificed souls that brought him into power must not be wasted. He should establish a forum for people to voice out dissent on controversial issues in the society, and procedures under which ordinary followers can sue for any infringement on their civil rights. More of concern and love, a general masses forum and idea reform is apropos.

God bless APC

God bless the teeming youths

God bless Bauchi State

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
