The removal of the former State Director of State Security Service, SSS in Niger State, Dr. Larry Obiagwu has been described as the best thing that has ever happened to Niger State.

Dr. Larry Obiagwu was alleged to have abuse his office by compromising on many security issues where money speaks. The former Director was so ready to do anything for the sake of money as gathered.

The wicked, Dr. Larry whose desire for money is above the lives of any perceived anti-Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu was said to have cushion the desires of heartless and ruthless Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, his sadistic former SSGs, Commissioners and political loyalists.

To perfect their act of terrorism to Nigerlites who are not on the same political train, it was alleged that former Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu approved the sum of #100 million naira for his former SSG, Professor Yahaya Kuta in collaboration with Dr. Larry Obiagwu to construct a special underground cell to perpetually torture any perceived enemy of Governor Aliyu’s administration.

Most of the detainees but recently released victims complained on how they were maltreated, tortured with handcuffs for months without them having access to their families or relatives at all.

Alhaji Lambatta who was detained for 5 years without even being charged to court appeals to the present Director General of the State Security Services to wade into their plight by ensuring that the former Director of the SSS in Niger State, Dr. Larry Obiagwu is brought to book by ensuring that justice is done, adding that there is nowhere in law that allows the SSS to detain a suspect for more that 24hours and wondered why the National Directorate of SSS allowed for construction of a cell for politician to achieve their political aims.
