Taraba Political Crisis: “There are no two governments in Taraba State” -SSG

The Secretary to the Taraba State Government, Gavey Yawe has come out to say that there is only one government in Taraba State.

The SSG made this known to journalists in Kaduna, amidst the edgy political state of affairs in the state owing to the air crash accident that involved Governor Suntai, in which some stakeholders has been saying that there are two governments in the state.

The SSG while speaking to journalists said that the acting governor Alhaji Garba Umar has continue to make it clear that he is in for his boss, and that there is only one government which is the one formed by Danbaba Santai.

“It is not true that the acting governor has abandoned his boss. All these are political elements trying to use the governor to give them the ticket, and now that they can see the governor is not recovering in time, they feel the whole thing is belated and they want to shift the blame on the acting governor,” he said.

Speaking further he said; “There are no two governments in Taraba State. The only thing is that Danbaba is not yet in a situation where he will come, so how can they say he (Umar) abandoned him since he had that accident?”
