Justice Joel Agya, Chief Judge of Taraba State, has announced the commencement of the 2025 Easter vacation beginning from April 21 to 27.
This is contained in a Legal Notice No 2, 2025, signed by the Chief Judge himself and available to newsmen in Jalingo on Thursday.
Agya said that the notice was inline with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules of 2011.
According to him, whereas it is provided under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011, that the sitting of the High Court for the dispatch of cases shall be held on every weekday except during the week beginning with Easter Monday.
”Now therefore, it is hereby directed for general information that there shall be an Easter vacation of the High Court throughout the state commencing from April 21 to 27.
