Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku election as Governor of Taraba State has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
The Apex Court dismissed the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Aisha Alhassan against the ruling of the Court of Appeal on the Taraba gubernatorial election.
It would be recalled that Aisha had approached the apex court challenging ruling of the Court of Appeal which declared Darius Ishaku of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as validly elected.
According to the Supreme Court, it said it will on February 22 state the reasons why Aisha’s appeal was dismissed.
