Tangale Waja Pastors Forum Condemns Recent Attack In Gombe, Ask Gov Inuwa To Remain Focus
The Tangale Waja Pastors Forum Condemned the recent attack In Gombe, which happened on November 5, 2021, between Tunfure leading to Gombe city centre, which claimed the lives of many persons while assets worth millions of Naira were destroyed.
In a communiqué issued on Friday 12th November 2021, and signed by the Secretary, Rev. Zakka Danfullo, and the Chairman, Rev. Lewi Tuta, after its meeting held in Billiri LGA in Gombe, the Tangale Waje Pastors forum said, “According to a meeting held by the Tangale Waja Pastors Forum (TWPF) on 12th November 2021. Members of the group directed Rev..Lewi Tuta to inform the general public that our resolution contained in this communiqué on behalf of the pastors and members of the Churches in Tangale Waja.”
The communiqué went further to “condemn in the strongest term the crisis that took place on November 5, 2021, between Tunfure leading to the city center, which claimed the lives of our children and destructions assets running into millions of Naira.”
Furthermore, it said; “ We call out loudly every politician in Gombe state to operate within his constituency and position that God has given him or her.”
“We call on the esteemed Governor of Gombe State, a peace advocate, and outstanding politician who has dedicated himself to the progress of Gombe State at various levels to remain focused.”
“The group also called on the security agencies to ensure that all those involved in the tragedy are brought to justice as soon as possible,” the group said.
