At the hearing of the substantive appeal on Tuesday at the Supreme Court sitting in the nation’s capital, Abuja, the panel headed by Justice Kudirat M. O Kekere, adjourned the suit for judgment after taking arguments from lawyers to the parties on the appeal.
The panel declared that a date for the judgment is to be communicated to the lawyers to the parties.

On November 15th, 2023, the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja vacated the judgment of the lower court and declared Governor Sule as duly elected Governor of Nasarawa State.
