Students Run Away From Schools For Fear Of COVID-19 Vaccine

Umar Akilu Majeri

Students in Jigawa have run away from schools for fear of the COVID-19 vaccine, this follows the decisions of the Nigerian government that it will soon purchase the Coronavirus vaccine which will be used to vaccinate Nigerians against the virus.

The Jigawa state government it was gathered has purchased meningitis vaccine to vaccinate people against meningitis and Health workers had visited schools in the state to vaccinate and this made all the students run away from their various classes thinking it was COVID-19 vaccines that the health workers have come to vaccinate them, due to various conspiracy theories going round in the world about COVID-19 vaccines.

Our reporter saw students who stormed the street, running out of their class heading for their homes, when asked why they are running away, they replied that government wants to inject every student with covid-19 vaccines.

But as it is, the rumor is not true because the Nigerian government received the vaccines not to talk of distributing to the states.
