Students Of Federal University Dutse (FUD) And School Of Health Technology Rawafid Dutse, Arrested For Robbery

On the 22/11/2021 at about 1900hrs, one Hauwa Damilola of G9 Quarters Dutse LGA reported to Dutse police station that, on the 19/11/2021 at about 2030hrs, while she was on her way from Yalwawa To G9 quarters, she was attacked by two (2) unknown persons with a knife and collected her bag and one Gionee Handset valued at fifty-five thousand Naira (N55,000.00k) and took to their heels.
Immediately on receipt of the report, the Detectives operation in the division swung into action. Based on intelligence information, the following Suspects Safuwan Usman ‘m’ age 20yrs old of Goron Dutse Dala LGA Kano State and Abubakar Ma’aruf ‘m’ age 20yrsof Kan Hawa Qtrs Roni LGA Jigawa State were arrested.
It was confirmed by the police authority that all of them are Students of Federal University Dutse (FUD) and School of Health and Technology Rawafid Dutse respectively.
During the investigation by The police the following exhibits were recovered; from the suspects, one knife, one Hand Bag, and one Gionee Handset.
The police public relations officer Lawa Shisu said the suspects will soon be paraded before the chief magistrate court Dutse to serve as deterrents to others.
