Solomon Lar University Students Celebrate Government Suspension Of Vice Chancellor By Yakubu Busari, Jos
Celebration went wild in Plateau state yesterday as 400 level students of Solomon Daushep Lar University Bokkos have enjoyed the suspension of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Doknan Decent Danjuma Sheni.
Inspite of non accreditation of courses by the state university ,the students Union body puts aside their worried appreciate government policy.
Mr Mishael Nunkop yesterday in a press conference at the NUJ, identified many factors associated with crisis rocking the institution.
You would call that Dr. Jonah David Jang has suspended the Vice Chancellor, Professor Doknan Decent Danjuma Sheni with effect from 30th October, 2014. In the interim, Professor Stephen J. Mallo has been appointed to act pending further notice.
Jang has been mandated the acting VC to commence preparation for accreditation of all the programmes of the University.
He is also to stabilize the system and harmonized all the organs of the University for a harmonious working relationship.
Since the establishment of University of Bokkos in 2005 by then Chief Joshua Dariye led administration as Jang took over in 2007 academic activities had never been suspended . The state University is yet to graduate any candidate since inception .
