Sokoto RFP 2020: Mallam Ubandoma Thanks, Commends Main, And Sub Committees On Successful Completion Of The Program

As the third, and final phase of this year’s Sokoto Ramadan Feeding Programme headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mallam Saidu Umar FCNA (Mallam Ubandoman Sokoto) came to completion today, Mallam Ubandoma has commended the hardwork, diligence and sacrifice put by the Members of the Main, and Sub Committees. He said the determination they’d shown made it a successful programme.

Mallam Ubandoma also thanked the Sokoto people for cooperation, and mannerism which played vital role in the success of the programme. He equally applauded the intervention of the Religious, and Traditional leaders which impactlly helped in smooth process of the programme. The Sokoto RFP Chairman used the medium to express satisfaction with how the Security Committee did an amazing job, which resulted to hitch free exercise.

The Chairman in the same instance praised the professional conduct of the gentlemen of the press, and the social media under the Publicity Committee led by Honorable Mani Maishinko Katami, Member representing Binji/Silame Federal Constituency. Mallam Ubandoma thanked the efforts of the State Ministry for Religious Affairs, through its Honorable Commissioner, Hon. Abdullahi Maigwandu.

This year’s Sokoto Ramadan Feeding Programme had an increased of allocation from 380 Million of last year, to 500 Million Naira. The Committee came up with modalities that can fit the guidelines laid by WHO, NCDC, and the State Taskforce on Covid-19; in which raw food stuffs were distributed across the 152 Centres in Sokoto, whereby 100 vulnerable individuals from each Centre benefitted from the gesture, which they received on three phases.
