SKDC Enterprenuers Summit 2019 To Feature Exhibition Of “Made In Lafia Product”-M.D

The Managing Director of SKDC Global Links, Limited, Stella Ajige has called on enterprenuers within and outside Nasarawa State to take advantage of SKDC 2019 Enterprenuers Summit.
The M.D made the call during a pre-summit press briefing held at the headquarters of SKDC situated at Kaura Plaza,along Jos road,Lafia,the Nasarawa State capital.
Stella Ajige says she want to use her platform to change the business narrative particularly in Lafia,the State capital.
The Managing Director further explained that the core objective of SKDC is to create opportunity in Nasarawa State for enterprenuers and intending enterprenuers to robe minds on the need to leverage on the use of innovation and application of artificial intelligence for business.
She maintained that SKDC Global Links is working hand to hand with the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, adding that she beam her searchlight on Nasarawa State considering the State amongst those that are not benefiting from any investment opportunity, calling on concerned authorities to accord topmost support in channeling enterprenuers into the State.
M.D SKDC Global Links State further that the summit would tackle all nagging challenges in setting up a business which she explained to includes, the need for tax education and entrepreneurship Technology.
Stella Ajige added that the summit would also encourage people that ventured and want venture into business as well given the right tax education to Proprietors of private businesses in the State.
“Our target is that we want enterprenuers to utilize this great opportunity for them by lifting their spirit for a dream comes true”she explained.
She in addition hinted that SKDC is like an incubation hub to give enterprenuers an idea on business opportunity and sharing understanding.
“As you can see I’m a graduate and I’m running a tailoring shop,tailoring is not just for drop out but for entrepreneurs who are doing well without depending on the Government”.
The M.D reiterated that the coming of the SKDC is to provide opportunity for enterprenuers to make valuable connection and gain useful insights about Nasarawa State.
“To start a conversation around the issues, challenges and opportunity in Nasarawa State and how to stimulate new investment that will position the State as a viable and attractive business destination able to contribute to the growth of different sectors for improved State Gross Domestic Product and opportunity for all”.she explained.
“We want to achieve a mindset shift by getting our younger graduates and enterprenuers sensitized that there is no jobs awaiting them,and why don’t people acquaint themselves with business skills instead of waiting for white collar jobs.
She explained that the 2019 Enterprenuers Summit like other Summit tagged “Enterprenuership and The Economy, Innovation and Evolution” would be attended by Nasarawa State First Lady,Her Excellency,Hajiya Salifat Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule as the Lady-Patron.
