The new leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress in Nasrawa state has given Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura nine hours to change the hands of the clock by according utmost attention to the plight of workers in the state or risk workers strike.

Comrade Bala Umar expressed displeasure over the backlog of August-September 2016 salary as well backlog of arrears of March and April salaries, adding that workers are not promoted for the past six years.

Reacting on why the former chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adeka was removed, the new chairman Comrade Bala Umar said the former leader dines and wine with the state government especially during strike.

Saying the NLC in Nasarawa state did not benefit anything under the headship of Comrade Abdullahi Adeka neither the state government.

The Chairman of the Trade Union Congress Comràde Danladi Sabo Namo said workers are under fed under governor Al-Makura, no promotion, and no salary increments.

Bala in his addressed assured the organized labour of his total commitment.
