The People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa state has again suffers another defeat following the mass exodus of its staunch members to the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress.
The defectors include are PDP supporter from Karu local government area, they include the former Secretary to the State Government under the administration of the then governor, Aliyu Akwe Doma, Philip Dada.
Other decampees are Tanimu Adabson, Silas Dakor, ex permanent Secretary.Hon.Dan’azumi Tanko-former council chairman of Karu local government under ANPP
The state chairman of the party, Philip Shekwor expressed delight over the change of tent by supporters of opposition party especially the think tank of the PDP in the state.
Shekwor tasked the decampees to imbibe the spirit of hardworking and commitment towards the success of the ruling party in the state under the amiable leadership of governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
The chairman called on the decampees to respect party rules and regulations at all times, he tasked the new party loyalist to place the interest of the party above personal interest.
In a related development, the ruling party in the state also welcome creme de la creme of the PDP to the All Progressives Congress in Obi local government of the state.
The occasion was well attended by executives of the party whom includes the state chairman represented by the state party secretary, Aliyu Bello, Party Youth Leader, Baba Sale,the Interim Management Committee chairman of Obi Saa’datu Ayitogo.
