Sheikh Charge Social Media To Promote Islam

An Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkadir Sale Kazaure, said the importance of Social Media to our daily lives cannot be overemphasized hence, the need to use it and promote Islamic values among colleagues.

Sheikh Kazaure is speaking at a one-day lecture organized by Al-Ahsan Foundation in Kaduna, with the Theme “Effect of Tiktok, Social Media and its benefits”.

Dr. Kazaure explains that anything you see in this world not only on social media, can be used, depending on the way you use it that made it to be lawful or sinful, and the Social Media, it can be used to promote Islam and its teaching.

Dr. Abdulkadir who is the Guest Lecturer at the occasion added that the invention of Social Media has indeed promoted Islamic preaching, teachings in which you can now watch live streaming of Islamic preaching in your comfort zone.

Dr. Abdulkadir who is also a Commissioner, Ministry of Justice, Jigawa stated further said “With the invention of Social Media Islam has reached various Communities, in which now they know about it Islam far better than before”.

Dr. Kazaure however, lamented the use of social networking sites for the promotion of negative content that may have a macabre repercussion on the general public.

In her well come address, the Amira of the Al-Ihsan Foundation Hajiya A’isha Mujaddadi, said the topic of this year was picked based on the current global trend of using social media where it had permeated every aspect of our personal and national lives.
