Senatorial Candidate Sends Appreciation To Labour Party Supporters In Plateau South

Yakubu Busari

The Senatorial Candidate (Plateau South) on the platform of Labour Party in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Hon. Alex Yola Kwapnoe expressed satisfaction on last Saturday 25th day of the February 2023 election where there was overwhelming support as he expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation for the support the good people of the southern zone gave him and the party at the polls.

Hon. Alexander Yola Kwapnoe, LP Senatorial Candidate Plateau South in a press statement made available to journalists in Jos .

He said, your resilience and determination to cast your votes for me and the party in the exercise of your franchise has given me much hope to surge ahead.

According to him , though the campaign kicked off late due to judicial infractions, you nonetheless spent your energy and time to embark on a door -to -a door campaign and visited all the nooks and crannies of your communities to sell my candidature in the one week we had towards the elections.

Kwapnoe stressed that though the outcome of the election was not favourable to me and the party, I was impressed with the number of those that trusted me with their votes. I, therefore, implore you all not to be discouraged but to instead gather more momentum towards the Governorship and House of Assembly Elections coming up on Saturday, the 11th day of March 2023.

The victory of our Presidential Candidate H. E. Peter Gregory Obi in plateau state was no fluke but was due to the hardwork, focus and careful planning at the various levels of the leadership of the Party in the State.

He , therefore appealed to all to do more in order to be able to deliver in the next elections.  The same energy too should be put to use during the forthcoming elections in the Plateau State House of Assembly for our various candidates on the platform of Labour Party.

Our jubilation should continue after putting structures in place at the Governorship and House of Assembly Elections.

He admonished all not to rest on our oars in ensuring that we become OBEDIENT to the end. The future of our children and the Plateau of our dreams can only be achievable if we take charge of the Plateau state govt house at little Rayfield.

Finally, I am calling on party faithful to be calm and to exercise restraint in the face of provocation. Carry on your campaign of OPERATION CAPTURE YOUR WARDS and refuse to be intimidated.  Be resolute, focused and determined. our victory shall be a FAIT accomplished.
