Senator Diket Plang Receives Commendation For Visionary Leadership In Plateau

The Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District Diket Plang has commended the Plateau Central Senatorial electorate for the overwhelming support in the 25th February 2023 general elections, stressing the need to promote the tenets of democracy.

The group described Senator-Elect as a visionary leader and someone that stood out tall amongst equals during the inauguration ceremony in one of the committee halls in the red chamber where the ceremony took place, the leadership of the senate was all over Senator Plang who played a key role in their emergence.

In the Presidential system of government which is made up of three arms the National Assembly is second after the executive arm.

Its main function is law making amongst others with the swearing-in of the tenth Assembly on Tuesday this week,

Senator Plang in his usual humble disposition reciprocated their hugs in a fashionable way. Shortly after, a hospitable reception was held in his honour at ‘DRACKS’ along the airport road in Abuja.

At the reception which attracted the cream of his supporters from the Senatorial District and beyond, speaker upon speaker including his DG campaign Benshak Dalop, Prof Mohammed Salle, and the immediate past head of service Sunday Hyatt poured Encomiums on the humble, visionary but firm political ICON whose style of representation in the past left no one in doubt of his capacity to represent the senatorial District well with the state at large.

Distinguished Senator Diket Plang who was overwhelmed with the large turnout of his constituents and friends alike to witness the inauguration and reception viewed that as a wake-up call. S

Much more than that, the Senator once more reiterated his absolute commitment to doing them proud in the course of his legislative Assignments.
