Security: Immigration Repatriates 43 Foreigners In Bauchi By Masoyi Lusa, Bauchi

Apparently disturb by the security challenges bedeviling the Northeast part of the country and its negative tendencies to live, as well as save properties and socio-economic development.
Bauchi State Command of the immigration service   has confirmed it has   repatriated 43 foreigners residing in the state without valid documents as part of their effort to improve security of lives and properties ahead of the 2015 general elections.
Speaking to newsmen while parading the affected persons, the state Comptroller Nigeria Immigration, Mr. Odeji Ejukwule Usman said that the affected persons 37 came from Niger Republic, Three from Cameroun and Three from Mali Were arrested in different locations in the State.
He said many of them had no valid documents as some of them came to Nigeria through illegal means and the women have no valid document and they are conducting un lawful business.
The Comptroller advised them to obtain legal document from their country and come back to Nigeria and obtain proper valid documents of living in Nigeria if they want to reside here.
Mr Usman said In view of the security situation bedeviling the country, particularly the north-East region, it has become imperative for Immigration service to take measures that will ensure the protection of lives and properties.
The Comptroller said that the exercise embarked upon by the immigration service was also to sanitize the state of criminal activities and pave way for the smooth conduct of the 2015 general elections.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the command to ensure a crime free environment in the state, called on countries desiring to reside in Nigeria to ensure that they process and obtain genuine documents before coming into the country.

Some of the foreigners interviewed explained their regret over the incident and pledged to get valid document from their country in order to live in Nigeria peacefully.
