Save My Life Gov.Uzodinma’s Loyalist,  Uchenna Chukwudi Cries Out To Governor, Police IG ,Others

A business man and core loyalist to Imo State Governor, Sen.Hope Uzodinma,  from Oguta Local Government Area,Comrade Uchenna Chukwudi, has made a passionate appeal to the Governor of Imo and Inspector General IG of Police and some other security agencies to please come to his  rescue immediately as a group of individuals are threatening to kill him .

 

Narrating his ordeal to journalists in Owerri the Imo State Capital, Comrade Chukwudi, said the whole incident started sometimes in January 2020 when he petitioned the  Commissioner of Police Imo State Police Command in Owerri on alleged incessant armed robbery activities, terror and fraud to the Egbuoma people in Oguta by one Uche Ahize ,popularly known as (Armoury) Prince Eugene Ogbuehi, Ichie Cosmos Eziukwu ,their leader, Ichie Kenth Nduka among others which has caused terror and fear on the lives of the people of his community .

 

When our correspondent tried to find out the possible reason behind the threat of life, Chukwudi said ” After i reported that some of these boys specializes in robbing vehicles ,motorcycles and other valuables from my people, the likes of Onyeka Chukwugborogu, Michael Nduka and two others came to my house at Egbuoma Oguta LGA  on the 4th of February 2020  at 12:30am with motorbike  and were with guns. ”

 

“On sighting that  I was in the house ,they  started shooting at the entrance door and at the glass window in the house with intention to kill me but luckily for me I  ran out from the backside of my house.”

 

He regretted that after his second petition to the Imo  CP where he reported to the police boss about an attempted assassination on his life no meaningful action has been taken to stop these men from killing him.

 

Chukwudi alleged that on two different occasions when he was asked to mobilize  Police command SARS and D4 Anti-fraud unit to arrest Armoury and Cosmos Ezeukwu they were all released immediately that same day and they came back to the village and continue their assassination attempt on him.

 

According to him ,”i hereby  wish to use this platform to appealed to the Governor of Imo State and the Inspector General of Police to use their good office to get to the root of this attempted assassination act and ensure that these people are arrested and prosecuted accordingly because my family and self cant even step our feet’s on my home. ”

 

“Our life has been exposed to more danger ever since my  petition to the Commissioner of police and my question now is if it’s a crime to report a robbery activity to Nigeria police ? when we were told that police is our friend.”

 

Chukwudi who sensed compromise on the side of the Police officers in the state had already planned to sue his traitors to court but his challenge is that he cannot afford the huge fund requested by the legal practitioners. ”

 

He said with the look of things now it appeared that nothing would happen even if they kill him because Police seems to be by their side and wouldn’t do anything.

 

He requests government to save his life and family from his traitors, whom he said have conspired to kill him..

 

Reacting on the development, the Imo Police Public Relation Officer ,Mr Orlando Ikieoku said the  incident is not news worthy, adding that what Mr Chukwudi should I have done before going to press was to return to his office so that he would take the matter back to the Commissioner of Police for expedient action.
