Saudi  stampede: Pilgrim blames Saudi authority, urges for compensation

Mideast Saudi Hajj StampedeA Nigerian Muslim pilgrim from Bauchi state Sani Alamin Nuhammed has blamed Saudi Arabia authorities as being responsible for the death of pilgrims.

This is as he urged the Saudi authority to without any further delay compensate the bereaved families of the Arafat stampede blaming it on negligence on the part of the Saudis.

Muhammed made the statement in a telephone interview with Universalreportes247.com; he said lack of proper ventilated facilities has greatly contributed to the death of the pilgrims.

He regretted that pilgrims were ordered to passed through tunnel instead of the right channel considering the harsh weather even when there was facilities to provide ventilation

Muhammad had warn that there is urgent need for Saudi to be strip of the responsibilities of arranging  for pilgrims exercise through their Monarch and opined for a global Islamic body to handle  exercise.

He cautioned mischief-makers for attributing the death of the pilgrims to African negligence saying Saudi Authorities must be investigated thoroughly to ascertain the root of the crane and stampede death tolls.

The pilgrim who fainted at the stampede lamented that lack of ventilation in all the hajj camps as the major challenges responsible for the pilgrims’ death in Saud.

He had charge the Saudi authorities to pay compensation to the bereaved families and opined for global Islamic body to handle pilgrimage exercise.

Muhammed therefore use the medium to condole all those families affected by the stampede and pray for the departed souls.
