Rukuba Barrack Community Under Incessant Kidnapping, One Killed On Tuesday

The Agingi Kisaloi Area in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state has been under the free operation of kidnappers, forcing residents to pay ransom for their release.

Agingi Kisaloi, the community can’t sleep with their eyes closed as kidnappers constantly visit their houses from house to house demanding the heads of the family to pay or kidnap.

However, two Igbo residents were kidnapped on Saturday when their building was torched by the heavy weapons they freely use in operations.

Information available to this medium revealed that some high-powered leaders and respected religious leaders are working in connection with the kidnappers for social and economic gain.

One of the sad, barbaric, and agonizing situations was the killing of an underage motorcycle rider in front of the Rukuba barrack of 3Div on Tuesday night by those alleged to be the kidnappers.

According to an eyewitness, he identified the victim as Monday Mbah, who was shot near the gate of the Rukuba Barracks, and his motorcycle was stolen afterward.

Reports revealed that the area has seen a resurgence in kidnapping in the last few weeks, with a corper kidnapped in the area a few days ago.

Mba is an Okada Rider, and the unfortunate incident happened around 7 pm yesterday.

Residents said they heard the gunshot as they prayed to God to expose the perpetrators of these dastardly acts.

On Monday morning at about 3 am, two people were also kidnapped close to a popular church behind the rocks and were taken to unknown areas.

It’s also gathered that the tomato market has now become an abandoned breeding ground for Criminal Minds to operate freely.

Some concerned residents of Agingi have made a passionate appeal to the council chairman to allocate a place for the Sunday market to reduce the activities of bandits connecting the Dutse Kura community by constructing a feeder road.

The Chairman, Dr  Riti, urged the council to beam the council security search light to help curb the activity of men of the underworld who take advantage of the bushes to attack innocent people in the area.

They lamented that residents of the areas can’t move freely in the evening at about 8 pm due to the presence of the criminal element in Agingi.
