Rivers APC Hails Peterside for Respecting the Nigerian Armed Forces Day

The leadership of All Progressives Congress [APC], Rivers State chapter says it is proud to note that, as a mark of profound respect to the living and fallen heroes of the Nigerian armed forces, its Rivers State governorship candidate, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, deliberately suspended his campaign yesterday, January 15, being the Nigerian Armed Forces Day. Indeed, this is true to his nature as a patriotic and nationalistic minded Nigerian, The party said this in a press statement signed by its Publicity Scretary, Chris Finebone

However, APC condemned the Rivers State PDP candidate, Nyesom Wike, in what it described as “usual clueless nature of their doomed party”, continued on his campaign.

The rest of the statement read: “Beyond living with the clueless bug that characterise their band, it is very likely that he did not care a hoot or did not understand the importance of the Red Poppy in the national life of countries of the world. Obviously, it clearly shows that this is a man that is driven by mere crass greed to seek an office that is over and above him in terms of content, character and understanding.

“As Rivers people, we will not cease to remind ourselves that ours is not state of nitwits, where beer-palour characters suddenly thrust themselves upon the people. Rivers people will always reject those who promote the laws of the jungle. They did so in 1999; they will repeat it in 2015. History surely will repeat itself!

“Again, we congratulate Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside and urge him to remain focussed and not be distracted by the violence and other antics of the occult minister – a candidate that true Rivers sons and daughters have already rejected”.
