Revealed 50 Female Suicide Bombers On The Prowl In Plateau By Yakubu Busari,Jos

Fifty female suicide bombers are said to be on the prowl in Plateau state following a confession made by a suspected female suicide bomber who caught yesterday by angry mob at the Katako Market in Jos.

As gathered by our reporter, the said female bomber who caught at the market by mob who descended on her, save for the intervention of the military she would have been lynched to dead, confessed to mob that fifty of them have been sent to different parts of Plateau state to carry out bomb attacks.

According to her, the Thursday bombing was also carried out by two of the fifty; meanwhile palpable tension and panic is said to have griped the residence of Jos as they are now currently living in a perpetual fear over alleged threats by terrorists group, the Boko Haram to launch massive attack in the state.

More so, residents have raised alarm that there have been fliers purportedly dropped at strategic positions in the city of Jos by unknown persons, threatening mass actions to erupt during Christmas and New-year festive periods in the state.

Moreso, the fear was heightened by twin bombs explosions that wrecked havoc in the Tin City of Jos Thursday Night killing over 30 people; As if that was not enough, as many intend to dispel the threats as rumour,  men of the security agencies defused four bombs in the city of Jos on Friday morning.

Disturbed by this recurring decimal, Police Authority as well spiritual leaders have called on citizens of the state to avoid unnecessary gathering as well to be vigilant and report any suspicious movements to security agents for prompt actions.

Plateau State Commissioner of Information, Hon. Mohammed Abubakar confirmed that 32 persons were death and 45 others who sustained various degrees of injuries are currently receiving treatment in different hospital including Plateau specialist Hospital, ECWA hospital, Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH.

He said,” Plateau state government commends organizations like the national and state Emergency management Agencies ,NEMA,SEMA ,and the Nigeria Red cross and spirited individuals .

Abubakar appealed to the general public to keep alert and be vigilant and cooperate with the security agencies to ensure that this unfortunate incident is averted in future.
