Return To God Now, Hon Goefrey Teme Warn Nigerians, Says APC To Maintainability Zoning In Jos North, Bassa

The former Member Representing Rukuba /Irigwe , an All Progressives Congress, APC, Plateau State Chapter,Hon Goefrey Teme has urged spiritual leaders to seek the face of God and return to him because the incessant attacks, kidnapping, and banditry rising its ugly head is gradually dividing the country.

 

Hon Teme stated in an interactive session with journalists at Polo , Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State on Wednesday, warning Nigerian to stop shedding innocent blood and focus on building peaceful coexistence amongst diverse ethnic and religious differences.

 

 

He condemned the rising insecurity and killing of innocent Nigeria by calling on the government to constitute facts finding committee to address the menace of herders , farmers communal conflict, or else we are not all safe from its

 

 

According to him, the leadership of this country must call for dialogue on how to end the insecurity inciting open religious bigots preaching in the country, we must obey the law of natural justice and equal rights in governance, employment before things would work out straight.

 

Teme cautioned that APC  as a political party has a good intention for Nigerians but what had bedeviled the great nation is greed and selfishness.

 

He frowned at the unprovoked attacks and maiming of innocent Nigerian that when someone is killed they said unknown gunmen, then who are these people, are they, not human beings ?/where are they coming from and what is the sources of their supply of weapons, however, there are sponsors of them to cause a problem, so we politician most wake up to defense our democracy from collapsing.

 

Hon Goefrey charged politicians to safeguard the future of this country through purposeful leadership and qualitative representation at all levels of responsibility.

 

He disclosed that Muslim and Christian leaders have performed their duties of educating their followers on the need to accommodate one another by imbibing religious tolerance in their daily conduct.

 

He reiterated that as a member of the committee constituted after the stakeholders meeting held at the Yelwa club in Jos South Local Government Council on Monday which ended up in deadlock as some errant youth disrupted the exercise forcing a sudden end to the meeting.

 

The interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Plateau state, Hon Latep Dabang the convener of the scheduled stakeholders meeting was calling on the 26 aspirants who have indicated interest to vie for the post of Jos North, Bassa Federal Constituency at the green chamber to wait for the party leadership direction.

 

But when Chairman Letep Dabang opened the flour to inform the stakeholders that they should adhere to the zoning of the late Hon Haruna Maitala seat to Bassa for them to complete the remaining tenure spark agitation and arose conflict of interest.

 

Hon Teme explained further that the committee was immediately constituted to ensure that APC remains intact and whoever emerges as the sole candidate should be supported.

 

He said the party employed all stakeholders not to over hit the politics that leadership comes from God and APC call on all their supporters to be calm and that the party working round the clock to bring out credible candidate.
