The chairman of Tarok youth in the area Nanbut Jangle told our reporter that the village played a major role in the wind of change of Lalong government as well in supplementing food production in the state.

“The people of the area, who are mainly farmers and hunters, contribute immensely to the total food production in Plateau state. We should, therefore, not be neglected by federal government agriculture plan of loan and tractor supply”.

Jangle appealed to the state ,federal government to accord due recognition to the contributions of the community by executing some development projects in the area ,stressing that successive administrations had neglected them for too long.

He expressed regret that government officials were only fond of supporting Wase leaving the villages on the eve of elections to come and canvas for votes.
