The Internally Displaced Persons in Kadarko community of Keana Local Government has resisted the deployment of Mobile police and policemen to the troubled stricken community, a border town with Benue state and Nasarawa.
The IDP’S and people of Kadarko community protested about this when the state governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and his entourage visited the scene of the killings of 7 TIV’s by suspected Fulani herders.
The 7 persons murdered includes 1.Ioryan Tete,2.Saka Lege,3.Abraham Igba, 4.Sarki Tabo,5.Pius Tabo,6.Iorga Tyogh,7.Augustine Yaagee while Blessing Clement and Madam IorJime sustained degrees of injuries.
Competent source confided that out of the 7 corpses one was evacuated by family members before governor Al-Makura arrives the scene of the incident.
The attack on the community may not be unconnected to the killings of over 70 cows by suspected TIV’s last week at Kadarko.
Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura while addressing the TIV people of Kadarko assured the people of adequate security to protect their lives.
Al-Makura said Joint Security Personnel comprises of Army and Mobile Police Force would be deployed to quell the upheavals.
He further maintained that police chopper would conduct surveillance on the crisis prone communities.
Scores of communities like Sarkin Noma, Kadarko town was deserted as multitudes of persons were seen on the road side with their luggage.
