Release White Paper On Committees On Tertiary Institutions To Save Our Schools From Collapse-JUNSTI Tells Al-Makura

The Joint Union of Nasarawa State Tertiary Institutions has appealed to Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to as matter of urgency release the White Paper on the recent reports of Committees set up by the Government.

Chairman Joint union of Nasarawa State Tertiary Institutions,  Ariks Samuel Bashayi said the release of the White Paper would save these institutions from total collapse.

The Press statement urged the State Government to henceforth follow the laid down procedures in the appointment of Principal Officers of the Institutions.

JUNSTI cautious State Government to appoint only qualified Persons with requisite qualification of Tertiary Educational system is detrimental.

“The Union expects Government to follow Due process in the appointment of suitable qualified Principal Officers from within our Institutions”.

The Union urges Government to desist from frequent and unnecessary screening exercises in our institutions without results.

JUNSTI advised the State Government to deploy better means of solving hiccups in the Institutions rather than bordering our members with screening.
