Doma Youth under the auspices of APC Solidarity Network Doma Local Government Area has vow to vote massively for the All Progressives Congress this February if the state governor accord prerogative of mercy to one of their son,Hon,Abubakar Yusuf “Danger” who was detained over an allegation of attempting murder the elder brother to the state governor,Ahmadu Al-Makura,The sangarin Kwandare.
The speaker of the group Muhammad Yusuf who was among the new defectors from the PDP to the APC averred that Danger a staunch member of the PDP remains in the prison custody with the conglomeration of minister, senator, House of representative and Assembly members of the PDP but no frantic steps was taken to effect his release, He described the inaction of PDP heavyweight to seek for the release of Abubakar Danger as inhuman.
“We are in PDP when he was detained but nobody said anything in relation to his release, this motivates family members, friends and well-wishers to accord him our maximum support that can change his life”.
The youths in there multitude were carrying placards with inscriptions, “DOMA YOUTH ARE REQUESTING FOR THE RELEASE OF “ABUBAKAR DANGER” WHO WAS JAILED OVER FALSE ALLEGATION OF ATTEMPTED MURDER, The occasion marks the official commissioning of party office at Ungwan Kasa and the unveiling of posters of governor Al-Makura,No fewer than 35 PDP loyalist dumped the party to the APC.
Hon. Henry Omaku,The chairman of Doma Local Government expressed satisfaction over the defection of PDP supporters to the ruling party ,He said the defection marks a milestone journey towards success ,The chairman was ably represented by the supervisory councillor for Works, Hon.Mamud Mustapha.
Hon.Mustapha Yahaya Idris a frontline politician obliged that the APC is at the vantage side to clinch the presidential and governorship seat come February general elections, “The mass exodus of PDP followers to the other parties like the APC and APGA is an ardent advantage to our side”.
Mustapha further said; “Labaran Maku dumped PDP to APGA, That is to say the ruling party will have it”.
Hon.John Ogah, APC candidate vying for House of Assembly representing Doma North in an interview was full of hope that the APC would win elective positions from House of Assembly, House of representative, Senate, Governor and the Presidency come next month.
