Reason Why Five First Class Emirs Were Barred From Sallah Durbar In Jigawa

Due to current security challenges in the North  East Geo political zones of the Country , the five first class Emirs of Jigawa state have been barred from traditional Sallah  Durbar [ Horse ride ] known as Hawan Sallah  by the state government because of the fear of unknown.

This paper  findings gathered that the Emirs, of Hadejia, Kaaure, Gumel Ringim and Dutse  had only attended Eidel  Kabir prayers with subordinates and hundreds of Muslims faithfuls in their  domain.

But our correspondent who went Kazuare reports that Emir of Kazaure Alhaji NAJIB Husaini Adamu who went Eid pray mosque by in A car came back home on horse where  then followed normal routes and stay for  little while at his palace where he receives  homage from traditional  title holders and districts heads and then entered his  palace .

The Emir then declared to make any  Sallah speech and immediately left for Daura where he paid Sallah homage on president Muahmmadu Buhari .

Reports from Hadeji , Gumel  Ringim and Dutse , indicated that the story was the same because their Emirs  did perform Durbar ,a situation which forced  their followers to go home disappointed.

It was gathered reliably that since two weeks ago the Emirs where informed officially through  the state special service directory , under the office of the secretary to the government  that  the usual durbar has been cancelled  throughout the state for security reasons.

When contacted, the state Attorney general  and Commissioner  for Justice Barrister Sani Hussaini  Garun Gabas  said , he will not  comment on that , because according to him, it  was a security issue.
