Quality Health Care : Eziakonwa Built, Equipped, Donated Medical Hub To Ngor-Okpala

A multi-million naira health project fully completed, standardly equipped  and donated to the good people of Umuohie-Ukwu/Umukabia in particular and to the populace of Ngor-Okpala in general has been officially commissioned by the state government.

The successful event which took place  last Thursday, Dec.30th 2021, witnessed massive jubilation as an illustrious son of Umuohie-Ukwu/Umukabia in Okpala Autonomous Community in Ngor-Okpala LGA, Imo State, Hon.Chief Emeka Eziakonwa, successfully built a standard Medical Center to his people as part encouraging good health.

Expressing motion of his happiness, the donor of the completed Medical Center, Hon.Chief Emeka Eziakonwa, who based in the United States of America,USA, expressively appreciated the grace of God for making his dream for good health of his people a huge reality.

”I am poised to ensure the eradication of sickness and other ailments in the lives of my people. Yes, offcourse,  know all that my people (Umuohie-Ukwu/Umukabia) are lacking and that was the major reason I decided to bring health care to their door steps, so as to make lives easier for all the indigenes of Ohie/Kabia”, Eziakonwa disclosed.

The Nigerian-US-Based technocrat and a business mogul, Chief Emeka, while speaking revealed that he fought tirelessly to ensure the successful completion of the health hub.

“It is a thing of joy to see a project we started months ago to be completed. Because of the project, I returned from the US more than five times as part ensuring the completion of the structure. My people often travels to far away places in their quest for good medical healthcare attention”, Emeka hinted.

“Sadly in the process of adventuring for medications, they would be attacked, robbed and got road accidents and some other difficulties are witnessed as challenges. But with the Center now available, sick persons will no more to outside seeking for medicals”, Eziakonwa submitted.

The benefactor, Chief Emeka, while speaking, encouraged the people of Umuohie-Ukwu/ Umukabia to make use of the health facility judiciously, revealed that more good tidings are coming to the land of Ngor-Okpala.

In his words, the Eze-Elect of Okpala Autonomous Community, Mazi Chief Obinna Eziakonwa, thanked the name of God for using his younger brother, Emeka, to wipe away tears and render succor into the lives of his people.

Mazi Eziakonwa, however commended his brother for uplifting health standards of his subjects.

He therefore advised all sick persons especially in his locale to go for medical treatment at the newly built health center, instead of thinking negatively when at the time of sickness.

“I am happy that God has blessed Emeka already, my prayers for him is long life, wisdom and prosperity to do more for the people”, Eze-Elect submitted.

Meanwhile, Our News Reporter who was present at the official commissioning of the Umuohie-Ukwu/ Umukabia Health Center, disclosed that the Imo State Commissioner for Health, Hon.Dr. Prosper Ohayagha, with his entourage officially endorsed the kick-off of free medical healthcare.

The Health Commissioner, said,  “This is what we expected witness courtesy of our sons and daughters at all times especially when they have the opportunity to invest. They should endeavor to invest meaningfully at home”.

“When wealth is been brought home, the people will definitely recognize the person that made it possible. Wealth is measured by the number of lives positively touched not by the amount of money in someone’s bank account”, Dr.Ohayagha quoted.

Dr.Prosper hinted that the benefactor, Emeka, has decided to give back to humanity.

“What you have done is noble and I have promised to inform Governor Hope Uzodinma of all your antecedents and your achievements. You have right thinking for service to humanity. You have shown capacity towards your partnership with Shared Prosperity Government. The government of day in Imo shall always reciprocate at your kind gesture. Keep the flags flying”, Dr. Ohayagha encouraged Eziakonwa.

The Commissioner for Health suggested that the government of Shared Prosperity can use Ohie/Kabia Health Center as a vaccination hub and goal-chain area for storage of vaccines.

He commended availability of qualified health workers and doctors seen attending to patients at the center.

Recalled that Chief Emeka Ihedioha and the member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency,Hon.Henry Nwawuba, and some other notable Imo dignitaries who graced the event amidst free comprehensive medical mission rendered to the people.
