Promasidor Nigeria Limited Donates 200 Cartons Of Sachet Power Oil To Vulnerable Women In Kebbi

Promasidor Nigeria Limited, a consumer packaged Goods Company based in Isolo, Lagos donated 200 cartons of sachet oil to vulnerable women in Kebbi to help them ease the effects of the lockdown.

The team led by Mr. Lukman Yahaya Baba handed the donation for onward distribution to the wife of Kebbi governor, Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu in Government House Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday the 29th of April 2020.

Mr Baba said the donation is part of their company’s corporate social responsibility to sustain the most vulnerable persons through the Covid 19 Pandemic hunger strike which they have done nationally.

The items were given in the presence of the Chairman of Kebbi state COVID19 Taskforce, Hon. Jafar Muhammad, Haj. Halima Dikko the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Hon. Zahrau Walli the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Women and social Development

Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu expressed her appreciation to the company representatives’ gesture as well as coming all the way to Kebbi. She said that the donations came at a timely moment to serve as a means of relief to vulnerable persons and she would ensure it is distributed openly and immediately.

The Wife of the Governor also used the opportunity to reemphasize precautionary measures on Covid 19 to limit the spread of the Virus. She called on all residents members to wear face masks, wash hands, adhere to social distance and maintain clean environments always.

The task force chairman also thanked the donating team, saying they were continuing to battle against coronavirus transmission on all fronts.
