Progressive Governor’s Forum hails judiciary over Rivers, A/Ibom tribunal victory, tackles Borno, Yobe, others on insurgency

The chairman APC Progressive governor’s Forum has commended the judiciary over the recent victories of the party’s governorship mandate in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states through the tribunal verdict
This was just he tackled Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states not to hesitate in emulation of Bauchi state in crushing the insurgency to give peace a chance for meaningful development.
Imo state governor Iwelle Rochas Okorocha made the statement in Bauchi during the meeting of the PGF also said, the tribunal victories justify a good omen not only to the party by to Nigerians.
Okorocha added that judiciary has now stand as a true watch-dog in reclaiming stolen democratic mandates in favour of the electorates apparently to enjoy the embodiment of democracy.
He assured that APC will sweep Fourth coming Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections slated for December against old odds
The chairman had pointed out that the aim of the PGF meeting is to create and economic fulcrum in line with Federal government vision under president Buhari
“As you are aware the nation is currently hack by economic doldrums and that inform the PGF idea to critically look at the possible ways on how best to address same for the yearning and aspirations of the common man which form the basis of APC political struggle to rekindle its hope” said Okorocha
He stress that president Buhari is capable to nib in the bud the inherited economic hitches through efficient, effective and prudent financial management
The chairman had earlier urges Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states to toe a path of honour and emulate Bauchi state on the onslaught against the insurgency to pave way for perpetual peace
He regretted that since the proliferation of the insurgency, socio-economic and political development in the North-east had suffered untold set-back
He therefore seek for synergy at all levels of dialogue to ensure peace return to the trouble areas
Governors present are that of Plateau, Edo, Kaduna, Imo others are seven deputies including the host governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi state.
