President Coalition Of Christian Groups, Kadzai, Says Tinubu Will Visit Fintiri’s Transformed Adamawa Monday

Ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Adamawa State on Monday, the President, Coalition of Christian Groups for Good Governance Nigeria and Diaspora (COCGOG), Engr. Daniel Kadzai has described the visit as timely, saying that the President will meet a transformed State.

Kadzai who is also a former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Youth Wing, (YOWICAN), also said the President’s visit to commission projects demonstrates the evidence of the dividends of democracy.

Citing Tinubu’s breakthroughs in fixing bridges destroyed by Boko Haram, Kadzai informed that previous Presidents neglected the bombed bridges that connected Adamawa State to other neighbouring States.

Speaking to our correspondent on Sunday, Kadzai said the bridges linked Madagali, Michika and parts of Mubi local government areas.

“These three bridges have been bombed by Boko Haram since 2014. For the past eight years of previous administration, the bridges were left abandoned, but when Tinubu took over power, he reconstructed the bridges within six months of his administration.

“One of the bridges links Abuja, Bauchi, Gombe and Borno States. He did not stop there but has gone ahead to construct a few more bridges, boosting economic activities in the State and region”, Kadzai said.

He lauded the President for making the Renewed Hope Agenda in Adamawa real and for supporting Governor Ahmadu Fintiri irrespective of political party affiliation.

Our correspondent reports that the State government has concluded arrangements to host the President, with Mr. James Iliya, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, confirming on Sunday that the visit reflects national recognition of the developmental strides achieved under the administration of Governor Fintiri.

Mr. Iliya said the visit would showcase the State’s commitment to improving living standards through strategic investments across sectors such as education, infrastructure and governance.

Among the projects slated for inauguration are the newly constructed underpass at the former Bekaji Roundabout, the expanded Bank Road in Yola, and a newly built model school in Yola North Local Government Area, part of a broader plan that includes 21 new model schools across the state.
