President Buhari Condemns Makkah Stampede Blame On African Nations: Call For Probe

Mustapha gave the hint when he lead the team of NAHCON officials to members of the Nasarawa State Amirul Hajj team, He opined that the visit was part of the readiness and commitment of the incumbent administration under the headship of President Muhammadu Buhari to unearthed the foul play behind the mass death of pilgrims at Mina.

Professor Abubakar Mustapha affirmed that stringent measure would be taken with reasonable information made available by either eyewitness or available pictures of precise happenings at Jamrat during the stoning of the devil.

He buttressed that all available clue includes portray of Saudi army blocking major route and emergency exit would erase doubt and negative perception attached to African as the prime causes of the incident.

“We Nigerians as a nation can’t take it anymore, Saudi authorities are saying Africans are responsible for the death at Jamrat, The world know that the fault is from the kingdom of Saudi and all we want is for them to take corrections because emergency exit are places that supposed to be left open but not locked with pad-lock”,He insisted.

Calling on state pilgrim boards to be up and doing by gathering necessary information that would ease the ongoing investigation by Nigerian Government, The delegation also commensurate with the people of Nasarawa state over the death and missing of pilgrim from the state.

The Nasarawa state Amirul Hajj,Abdullahi Adamu  applauded the commission for the visit, And assured them of all necessary support to commence investigation, Abdullahi Shehu who represented the Amirul Hajj averred that one pilgrim from the state died in the stampede while one was declared missing.

The Amirul Hajj commiserate with Nigerians and the people of Taraba state over the demise of the leader of the delegation and Monarch of Zing who passed away alongside with his family members during the stampede.

Aliyu Bello, Member of the Amirul Hajj pleaded with the National Hajj Commission to expedite action in ensuring that pilgrims are returned home on time without further delay, Saying pilgrims has since exhausted their BTA .

He said the call has became necessary so as to reduce tension and hardship faced by pilgrims, He insisted, Investigation gathered by this unveiled that vast population of women had exhausted their money in buying gift to love ones.
