How Political Thugs Besieged Plateau Environment Commissioner’s Residence Over Governor Lalong Millions Of Naira Sallah Bounty

As many retired civil servants in Plateau state are yet to receive their  pension and gratuity for years, universalreporters247.com learnt that Governor Simon Bako Lalong doled out over millions of naira for 2017 Eid Mubarak celebration .

The wrangling hitting the politics of the APC administration was also seen as the alleged Eid-Mubarak gift were hijacked by top Muslim politicians and thwarted.

Political thugs from the various wards stormed the residence of the state commissioner for Environment Alh Abdullahi  ‎Abbas where sharing by government officials were disrupted  and important things within the premises damaged.

Our correspondent gathered that the committee headed by the commissioner including top government officials who besieged the compound could not perform the sharing because of the rowdiness and fear of the thugs who arrive the premises well prepared for anything

The irate youths were monitoring the commissioner’s movement within the premises as they vowed to assault any person that will advance to stop them from the sallah gifts of the change mantra.

Our investigation revealed that the money was allegedly released by the state ministry of finance so as to also please the Muslim ummah ahead of the 2019 general elections.

It was gathered that the normal tradition for the sharing ‎formula during the festival were boycotted and neglected by the commissioner who was said to have influenced and gathered the support of other members of the committee.

Universalreporters247.com findings shows that that the  plateau state  citizens are now gathering stones to chase the Lalong led administration out of Little Rayfield if urgent step to address the politics of impunity, sectionalism, facing political atmosphere on ground.

As result of such, the state governor objectives for scoring a cheap political point was defeated by some greedy politicians who were said have to have corned the sharing for selfish purposes.

For now, Muslim groups in the state are calling for an explanation on how sum of millions of naira allegedly released for the sallah was spent without creating any meaningful impact for the regime.

They argued that “it’s high time that politicians desist from such act “noting that “these actions will never produce better image for the administration.

However, an effort to speak with the commissioner for Environment, Hon Abdullahi Abbas on the issue was abortive as his phone was switched off.
