The commissioner of Police Plateau state command, CP Nasiru Oki has signed a peace pact  with candidates of  different political Parties on the 2015 general election.
The commissioner of Police expressed their readiness to deploy security personnel in all the polling units across the 17 Local Government Area of the state.
Oki advised all the political parties against bridging the electoral law . He  appealed to politicians to warned their supporters against post election violence.
He said , if anyone is been   detained during election no one should come for his bail, as he also advice that proper information should reach the security agencies before electioneering campaign rally.
Oki warned against coming to voting center with armed youths, according to All Progressives Congress ,APC,  candidate Barr Simon Lalong, he alleged that  some group of people are going about collecting PVCs in Plateau state.
According to him , some  people have been arrested hoarding the PVCs so that on the day of voting many people will be disenfranchised on the election, as he also prayed that the election will be free and fair .
The Speaker Plateau state House of Assembly ,Hon .Titus Alams appreciated the CP for deeming its fit to embark on the peace process for election and beyond .
He further urged CP to step down the peace sensitization campaign to the Mosque ,churches ,communities as well as youth leaders across the state.
Alams warned that politicians should understand that they can only rule people that are alive but not those who are killed. Hon. Samuel Tangni representative of PDP Guber candidate in Plateau, GNS Pwajok said the campaign had been peaceful and also the peace accord  also help to reduce violence.
He appealed to opposition to caution their supporters against inflammatory statement capable of bridging peaceful coexistence of the state.
Pwajok also promised the command a peaceful election in the state from the PDP supporters. The former Anthony General ,Edward Pwajok commended the Plateau state command for peaceful conduct of campaign.
Stressing that we all aspire to govern the state under the atmosphere of peace and the absence of Peace create problem.
Pwajok assured that the state will maintain  peace to make work easier for the security personnel. Speaking further on the postponement of the election ,Lalong said the PDP government have supported the evil day , added that APC is ever ready to have won the election if taken place s earlier scheduled, he said.
Alhaji Sale Bayari urged the security to stay away from partisanship on the basic of been paid by the government.
He condemned the postponement of the election by security in the country and warn against using them to rigged the election, we all pray  to  have free ,fair and credible .

The APC senatorial candidate , Eunice warned the candidates of various political parties to go out there and educate their supporters. She expressed shock with the level of intimidate from the opposition the ruling party.
