Police ASP Lukpata Emerges Overall Best in Advanced Detective Course (ADC), 73, 2021 (See Photos Inside)

The just-concluded Advanced Detective Course (ADC), 73, 2021, at the Police Staff College Jos was an epoch-making event where all the security agencies in Nigeria participated. At the end of the course, ASP Odey Kingsley Lukpata made the Nigeria Police and the entire nation proud by graduating on top of his class as the overall best participant of the ADC, course 73, 2021.

ASP Lukpata hails from Wanikade-Ukelle in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State. He is a graduate of Law from the prestigious Nigeria Police Academy, Kano; a member of the Regular Course One (1) and was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II) on 20th December, 2018. He is currently serving at the Force Public Relations Office headed by CP Frank Mba, (FPRO).

The young officer is said to have also performed excellently while in the academy as a cadet officer. Aside the ADC course, ASP Lukpata has attended the following courses; Criminal Justice Executive Course organized by Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Centre, Accra, Ghana, International Migration Law Course organized by the United Nations cum Internal Organization for Migration, Intellectual Property (IP) Crime Investigation Course from IP Crime Investigators College, National Fact-Checking Course, Mobile Combat Course at Ila Oragun, amongst others.

 

The Police Staff College, Jos, is a citadel of learning where senior Police Officers and personnel of other security agencies are trained on professional courses. The ADC 73 course saw participants from the Nigeria Police Force, the Armed Forces, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Department of State Security (DSS), Nigeria Customs Service, and Federal Road Safety Corps.

 

The Commandant of the College, CP Augustine Arop, psc(+), while congratulating the young officer for the great feat he has attained, urged him to keep the flag flying high and never relent in making the Police and Nigeria proud. He also congratulated other course participants and urged them to continue with the good conduct exhibited during the course.

Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, has congratulated the young officer for his spirit of sportsmanship and for making him and the entire members of the Nigeria Police Force proud. The police boss added that, with this great achievement, the sky will be his starting point. The IGP further implored other officers of the Force to be diligent and dedicated to duty and courses in the service of their father land.
