Police Arrest 3 Boko Haram Suspects In Jos

boko-2BharamThe Plateau State Police Command arrested three persons suspected to be Boko Haram members at Terminus Market, in Jos north local government area

Our correspondent who was an eye witness of the incident reports that the suspects were arrested following a tip off by road traders that the actions of the suspects were suspicious.

The suspect who confused of sending plenty of their members into the state for operation revealed that they are here in the state on a mission to wreck havoc.

According to three suspects, they were alleged to have arrived the Terminus area in a car and dispatched themselves as they were seen making suspicious calls.

Interrogating the suspects at the Terminus Market Police station, the police realized that information given by them was contradictory to one another and seemed to have known themselves. This development forced the police to move them to Police C,Division around Central mosque.

When contacted an eyewitness to the incident, said people around the area were very vigilant and suddenly the three young men parked a tinted Honda accord vehicle and moved to three different directions.

Zakari Ya’u Adamu who is a shoe seller around the area narrated to newsman after the incident that “since after the occurrence of various blasts in the area, we always divide ourselves into groups. When the car parked we went after them. At the beginning, they were trying to deny during the interrogation, they wanted not to cooperate but later submitted. One of them was found with five SIM cards while the others their statements were contradictory.”

When contacted, for comment the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Emmanuel Abu, on phone, he could not answered the call put to his cell phone.
