Plateau Tribunal : Gotom Tenders Volumes Of Documents ,As Diket Plang Assures Of Resolute To Central  Zone

The Peoples Democratic Party Candidate ,for  Plateau Central Senatorial district,Amb. Gulkuna Youanna  Gotom   has presented volumes of elections materials to prove that the outcome of 25th February, 2023 general elections that produced Hon .Diket Plang of the All Progressives Congress ,APC, was marred by irregularities and mutilation of the results .

The National ,Houses of Assembly Election Tribunal adjourned continuation of hearing to Wednesday 16th August ,2023 for the petitioner to prove his case of over voting .

According to him , INEC declaring ,Hon Diket Plang  and returning him as  the winner characterised a stolen mandate which is different from the true reflection of the  Senatorial Election that was held .

Amb.Gotom , said as accountant for over 10 years no one present  figures to G.Y Gotom because they fear me because I take the figure to the theatre and perform surgery on  it.

Gotom who petition is challenging  Diket Plang have concluded the pre hearing and  presented volumes of elections documents as he tenderedCTC to  the election tribunal .

He reiterated this during an interview with Journalists at the Plateau State High Court sitting in the state capital stating why the manipulation of the Kanam ,Mangu votes can’t hold ground .

He  frowned at a situation where  people in the likes of the Respondent Hon. Diket Plang will manipulate figure for themselves and bring to court .

“You can even see how lawyers were very surprised with the level of the manipulation the APC and it cohorts engaged in, during the 2023 Plateau Central Senatorial election.”

He added that Diket Plang has come to court today and see things for himself which he know that it is grossly against him, but I expect him to forgo pride and ego , and tender apology so that it can be publicly adopt in court of law , and returned me  to Abuja.

He however said in Hausa Language” That the friend of a thief is also a thief”.

Ambassador Gotom advised people to support what is good to avoid the wrath of God to themselves and their generation yet unborn.

“So if you know what is good ,please support it, if you support what is bad , it means your generation is cooking bad story for our people. The good people of Plateau Central will not accept that. ” He maintained.

He lauded the tribunal for allowing his exhibit scaled through and adopted by the court.

But lamented that in the  first time in the history of Africa, election result was delayed for two whole weeks contrary to the principles of free, fair and credible Election.

However, the Petitioner Ambassador Yohanna Gotom has tendered documents which majority are polling Units results from some local government that make up the Constituents, to help the Petitioner defend his case.

The matter has been adjourned to 16th August 2023 for Continuation of hearing.

Meanwhile ,Sen. Diket Plang condemned the insinuation that he couldn’t perform within the shortest period ,” I presented bills on floor of the senate calling on the STF commander to move the headquarters to Mangu LGA where the  killings is going on and that was done .

He condemned the unprovoked and unwarranted killings of innocent people in Plateau state as he is soliciting for total return of peace in Plateau and its environs.
