The Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers, NURW, Plateau State Chapter has alleged that the Plateau State Police Command Commissioner refuse to implement the order of industrial and the Appeal court order to install Alh.Auwalu Garba as the legitimate state Chairman of the union.
In a motion No ACB/M104//2025 between the judgement creditors /applicant, Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa against the judgment debtors Alh. Najeem Usman Yasin faction and Alh Yakubu Dalyop respondents.
The complainants stressed that it started from the National Industrial court which nullified the election of the National President of NURTW, Alh Najeem Usman Yasin ordering for the installation of Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the legitimate president of the union.
However, the judgment debtors appeal the industrial court judgment but it affirmed that the process that produced Tajeem Usman as the National President didn’t followed the due process.
The court said that you can’t put something on nothing and expect it to stand ,adding that if the foundation is faulty the whole building most collapse and the court declared that the whole leadership of the 36 states including Abuja under the leadership of Najeem Usman stand dissolved.
According to the judgment, the judgment debtors should vacate the office and install the judgment creditors as the authentic National president of NURTW that they are illegally occupying the states office.
The statement written by Tajudeen Ibikunle to Plateau State chapter was to install Auwalu Garba as the Care Taker Committee, CTC, chairman to oversee the affairs of the union pending when election is conducted.
When the Auwalu Garba CTC chairman commences the process of moving into the state chapter office opposite Dadin-Kowa first gate the met stiff resistance from the Alh.Yakubu Dalyop group whom are now lying claims.
According to Auwalu Garba in all efforts to convince the Dalyop that a judgment was entered in their favour and he need to vacate the current office prove abortive until we sought for advise from the Attorney General and commissioner of justice, Hon.Philemon Daffi.
The commissioner of justice while approached on the judgment says that between the two factions the government would be cleared to recognize the leadership of Alh Auwalu Garba after carefully studying the two judgments .
He stated that despite all the relevance documents were transmitted to the office of the commissioner of transport for him to furnish the office of Attorney General and commissioner of justice prove abortive as the onward delivering failed to reach him.
Auwalu maintained that after getting clear information the commissioner of justice urged the transport commissioner to recognize the Auwalu as the state chapter chairman.
On the 17th Day of September, 2025 to enforce the interim order Alh. Auwalu Garba obtained Tajudeen Ibikunle writ order at Grade 1 Area court Bukuru Jos,Jos South LGA. in favour of judgment creditors and their privies.
The statement alleged that the DCP operation misled them inviting them to the headquarters only to twist the narrative by bringing the Yakubu Dalyop back to the kneely contested office which the court judgment against.
It’s was gathered that the oc legal deceive them that he was going to write the court for more clarification on the judgment creditors.
The union alleges that the commissioner was plotting to create crises in the state instead of following the rules of engagement by enforcing the order of industrial and appeal court which earlier affirmed the leadership of Tajudeen.
