Plateau State APC Set To Adopt Consensus In Ward Congresses -Alh Bashir Musan-Sati

The Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Secretary Barr. Bashir .Musan-Sati has disclosed that all is set for the party wards congresses in the state, as Governor Simon Bako Lalong has admonished for consensus candidates to stem internal crises within the state.

 

 

Speaking to journalists over the party wards congresses in Plateau state, Alh Bashir Musan-Sati revealed that all arrangements have been concluded for consensus candidates across the councils wards.

 

According to Musan-Sati in case where they feel leadership couldn’t reach consensus, the APC appeal committee have also been set to tackle that problem.

 

He charged those saddle with the responsibility of conducting fresh Congress and the aggrieved  APC wards members to report any abnormalities occurring thereafter the primaries to ensure they channel their complaints to the appropriate authority.

 

He explained further the Governor Simon Lalong instructed that he want everyone to be carried alone because, he says,” democracy is a government of the people by the people and for the people “so we should allow full participation of the people at all levels.

 

Bashir emphasized that Mr Governor advised was clear to everyone of us with the 3 man  committee set for the collection of results and handing  its over the party secretariat .

 

He maintains that the entire process should be transparent and people driving warning, no one should allow individuals to hijack the people exercise, especially those who are claiming that they are stakeholders should desist from taking action that can truncate the peaceful transition across wards.

 

Bashir Musan-Sati called on the APC supporters to be law-abiding citizens and they should channel their complaints to the party appeal committee rather than taken the laws into their hand.

 

He says,” we are a well organize political party with grassroots structure so we expect a hitch free Congress of  APC across the 17 LGAs to herald our victory at the October ,2020 Local Government election and the Jos North/Bassa Federal constituency respectively “.
