Plateau Speaker, PDP Guber Aspirant, Jatau  Condoles Victims Of Jos Main Market Inferno

The Plateau State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Joshua Madaki has appealed to spirited Government and spirited individuals donate for the plight of Jos main Market inferno which destroyed goods worth million naira on Saturday night .

 

He said indeed it is quite pathetic for us here on the Plateau we can’t say anything at this moment but to sympathise with these traders  while asking individuals and donors agencies to come to the intervention of the plight of the traders.

 

Madaki stressed that the situation is so critical now that we are calling on the traders to imbibe new model technology to improve standard of marketing.

 

 

The People Democratic Party ,PDP, under the aegis of  SHIFT PLATEAU 2019  Organization has  sympathizes with the victims of Jos Main Market fire disaster were over 200 chops are affected.

 

In a statement, Arc. Samuel Nanchang Jatau, the PDP governorship aspirant regrets the loss of investment, property and means of livelihood of all the persons affected, most especially in this period of economic hardship.

 

He also said not only are the loses huge, but also portend slowed economic growth.

 

He wishes God console the traders and replenishes in multiple dimensions all that have been lost.

 

He calls for regular visits and interactions between traders, the state fire department and other agencies of government responsible for enforcement of safety and standards to mitigate further incidences.
