Plateau Police Commissioner Adesina, Threatens To Expose Some High-Profile Citizens Who Are Behind Plateau Crisis

The Plateau State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, CP. Emmanuel Adesina has threatened to expose some high-profile citizens behind the Plateau killings, as he explained that some people are happy and are also benefiting from the crises wreaking havoc across communities.

Speaking during a press briefing at the command headquarters on Wednesday, Adesina vowed that peace must return to the state under his watch as his personnel are working around the clock to smoke out criminal elements in their hideout.

He said the command has successfully arrested some criminals around Ungwan Rogo community of Jos North Local Government Area, where they abandoned a car loaded with some ammunition and cartridges, an international passport, and different plate numbers of commercial and private.

According to him, some of the suspects were apprehended and are undergoing investigation to unravel the culprits behind the planned attack. Numerous identity cards belonging to the escapees were also paraded before journalists.

He explained further that the men of the command have successfully arrested some syndicates that are terrorizing the state using  500 rounds of 7.5mm ammunition at about 4:19 am in their hideout when the security raided them following credible information from members of the community in  Jos North LGA.

Adesina revealed that suspects abandoned a vehicle with full loads of ammunition of 7.6 mm that were recovered close to the scene area where the criminal committed culpable homicide.

He assured the members of the general public that the command is making frantic efforts towards neutralizing them and to also freeing the state from the activities of criminal elements parading the state.

Emmanuel Adesina called on the citizens of the state to provide them with useful information on the criminal hideout as the command remained resolute in their pursuit to maintain law and order.

Items uncovered include: a flying ticket driving license, international passports, a vehicle, plate numbers, three caps, and ammunition.
