The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family in Plateau state seems back and intact, as one of its own, Hon. Gyang Badung and his supporters have assured the chapter of unalloyed loyalty to the leadership of the party in the state.

Hon. Badung and his supporters have in a letter dated 23rd April, 2018, tagged, “Affirmation of Loyalty to the Peoples Democratic party”, also dissociated himself with all activities or conduct that will bring the party to disrepute.

“I write to further assure the Peoples Democratic Party at all levels to both its leadership and structures and have dissociated myself with all activities or conduct that will bring the party to disrepute and or have the tendency of causing chaos and dissatisfaction among its members and or leadership.

“I from henceforth along with my supporters pledge total loyalty to the party under the leadership of Hon. D.T. Sango and will be of good conduct”.

“Find attached also to this letter a disclaimer to a publication dated 02/04/2018, linking me and my group with a purported write up warning the Chairman on plotting to foist an 87 years old statesman (Sen. J.T. Useni), as gubernatorial candidate of the party come 2019.”

In a quick response to the action of Gyang Badung, REALITY gathered from the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. John Akans that, the state Chairman has withdrawn the case the party has with Badung and others in order to create more room for better reconciliations.
