Plateau Massacre: Northern CAN Demands For Justice And Arrest Of 5 Miners Killer Squad

The Chairman, Northern Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev Yakubu Pam has demanded the arrest and prosecution of five miners by calling on security personnel to tackle the killings in Plateau with seriousness.

 

He condemned the dastardly act in strong terms especially the killings of five (5) local miners in Razat community of kwock, Ropp district  of Barkin Ladi Local government council of Plateau state by armed gunmen.

 

Rev  Pam in a statement issued in Jos on Thursday and made available to newsmen over the ugly incident, says that the gunmen were said to have escaped from the scene of the attacks after killing their victims at Tin mining site on Wednesday afternoon.

 

He called on the villagers of Barkin Ladi to be very vigilant not to be taken unawares by these killer armed men rampaging around communities of the Northern senatorial district of the state.

 

Pam expressed regrets that the way and manner these local miners were shot dead at Tin mining site of Razat Community of Kwock, Ropp district of the restive council by the attackers should be condemned by all peace-loving people of the state.

 

Pam called on security agencies in the state to go on the  manhunt for these killers who are plotting to return Plateau back to its dark days of the past.

 

He prayed to God almighty to comfort the families of the deceased in the affected communities of Barkinladi and other parts of the state that have suffered a similar fate in recent times on the Plateau.

 

Rev Pam charged the state government and the security agencies in the state not to leave anything to chance in arresting the perpetrators of the evil acts in the state.

 

“Let me tell you that there is no resting place for the wicked, these evil men would definitely be caught by the law enforcement personnel s   very soon,”

 

He added that the killers of Gyang, Jillim,  Lamba, David and a woman by name Rebeca at the Tin mining site of Razat must be brought to justice so that other merchants of death planning such heinous crime against humanity be deterred from committing such crimes in any part of the state.
