Plateau LG Petition Tribunal Chairman Threatens To Lock Up APC’s Amos Aide Over Attempt To Influence Witnesses

The Chairman Local Government Election Trial Tribunal sitting in a petition filed by Ubandoma Joshua Laven of the People Democratic Party, PDP against Kparnim Nanloh Amos of the APC and PLASIEC has threatened to lock up Chief of Staff to Kaprnim Amos of the APC for contempt of court as he added that they are trying to influence witnesses inside the tribunal.

The Chairman, Barr. JK Binjin warned one Lasin who is Chief of Staff to Amos of the APC who operate freely communicating with the witness while the proceedings are going by distracting everyone.

According to him, the tribunal observed that the constant communication between the Chairman aide’s and the witnesses coming to testify is gradually delaying the court proceedings, as tribunal we have sent one of the security to monitor the activities of “You, Mr. Lasin “and discover that you speak to them while proceeding is going on, which your movement is distracting us.

The first respondents witnessed on Thursday Mr. Timjul Laven Sambo told the tribunal that he had two voters card, one read Timjul Sambo and the second Timjul Laven Sambo adding that he used them to cast his vote in  Bapkwai Pyeche polling units respectively and the same time he was the returning agent.

Niri Daro sort to find out whether Nimjul knows the code of Pyeche he said no but confirm to the tribunal that APC scored 325 of the votes cast.

In most of the PLASIEC forms used there are no serial numbers in the documents and no figures adding that the results sheets were signed by the APC agents.
