Plateau Govt Pledges Its Readiness To Partner With Social Media On Peace Building

Plateau state government has pledged government willingness to partner with individual group that are ready to promote governance toward disseminate information for the benefit of the society.

He charged a new way of creating avenue for partnering with social media users to promise government activities across the state.

The Director of Press Affairs to Governor Simon Lalong, Pastor Emmanuel Nanle x-rayed contribution for good social media in providing good governance to the citizenry.

Nanle was speaking at social media Breakfast held in Eagle valley Royal Hotel ,No 1 a suzi Garden opposite Charcoal market Tafawa Balewa Street,Jos .

The director urged social media users across the country to ensure that the deliver fact and details of information that can better the live of our people in the community which will expose corruption and criminality.

“We want people to get public information of government in their communities because most people are into social media just for mischief making but we assured those who want to partner to come out and register their present”.

Nanle advised media professional to consider the plight of government rather than resorting to issues that is capacity of disintegrating us as a nation.

Plateau state government under the leadership of Bar. Simon Lalong wants to build confidence with all media practitioners across the state by creating a platform of reaching people.

The commissioner of information and communication, Hon Nazif Mohammed appealed to all social media users to integrate and always seek for clarification before sending its on social network.

Mohammed lamented the used of social media causing confusion and hatred so we see that there is large leverage for us to interact and past information to each other.

The commissioner cautioned media or social media to consider the security of the country before personal self, we can benefit from each other if we learn tolerance one another.

He solicited the cooperation of Plateau professionals toward building of new plateau under the administration of governor Lalong through proper dissemination information to all look and cranny of the state.

The event witnessed a Mammoth crowd who came across the state to brainstorm on the important of social media during and after elections in Nigeria.
